Powered by twin 1,400 hp MAN V12 diesels, Converter can quickly spool up to a max speed of 36 knots or slow cruise at 22 knots. A 21.5 kW generator ensures owners have reliable power for all on board during extended excursions. The cockpit docking station with variable- speed bow and stern thrusters helps maneuvering in tight spaces.

“The S65 has the galley up and centered between the cockpit and salon, which turns the main deck into party central. Adding to this are sliding doors leading to the cockpit. The doors nest into pockets out of sight, and the window by the galley tilts up electrically. Voilà! Completely open from the cockpit settee past the galley, past two seating areas with tables to the forward windshield. Slide the sunroof open, and you have a 65-foot runabout,” Yachting previously reported.

Converter has an expansive outdoor space designed for both relaxation and entertainment. The main deck serves as the heart of the yacht, featuring a transoms garage with sun pads and a settee with table in the cockpit. The foredeck lounge has a C-shape settee with table and sun pads. The full-beam hydraulic swim platform with a transom garage provides easy access to the water and stowage for the tender and other water toys.

Converter’s flybridge has a hydraulic Bimini top with a dual-seat helm station forward and to starboard and a dining table abaft ad to port. Positioned well aft, the flybridge not only adds to the yacht’s sleek appearance but also allows for a sunroof over the salon to open, creating a versatile indoor-outdoor living experience. Equipped with amenities such as a power cool box, electric grill, LED lighting in Bimini, the flybridge serves as a perfect spot for both navigation and leisure. Converter’s salon has a high-gloss, walnut interior. Large windows and the sunroof flood the area with natural light. Grab a beverage, relax on the U-shaped sofa and take in the ocean vistas in all directions. The salon was designed to blend seamlessly with the outdoor areas. Features like power Roman blinds, a pop-up Smart TV and a custom stereo system enhance the yacht’s comfort and entertainment elements.

The aft galley is one of my favorite setups. The galley has a convection/microwave oven, separate refrigerator and freezer, double stainless-steel sinks and a three-burner cooktop. The galley also includes an electric up/down dining/cocktail table and L-shaped settee, making it both functional and stylish. Lock open the sliding doors and open the sunroof to create an open-air environment that flows through the salon out to the cockpit.

After a long day on the water, owners and guests can retire belowdecks to four spacious staterooms. There is a full-beam master stateroom with an en suite head and walk-in closet, a VIP stateroom and two guest staterooms with twin side-by-side berths on the starboard side, and over/under twin berths on the port side. High-gloss walnut interiors, satin finishes and oak woodwork options enhance the opulence of each room. The master stateroom also has windows that are nearly full-length on each side, providing stunning views and abundant natural light.
