This property emphasizes the therapeutic benefits of living close to nature, combining wellness, sustainability, and hospitality. At its core, 27 residences will surround a tranquil woodland lagoon, offering three to five-bedroom options with expansive living spaces.

Guests and residents can enjoy natural trails, tai chi, yoga sessions, seasonal festivals, and curated lifestyle experiences. Six Senses Place, a wellness and social hub, will feature a central bar and lounge, co-working spaces, a restaurant, and wellness treatment rooms, creating a harmonious blend of relaxation and community.

Capella Kyoto, Japan (Mid 2025)

Opening in mid-2025, Capella Kyoto will mark Capella Hotels and Resorts’ debut in Japan. Located in Kyoto’s Miyagawa-chō district, known for its geiko and maiko heritage, this four-story, 92-room hotel is designed by the acclaimed architectural firm Kengo Kuma and Associates. The property reflects Kyoto’s rich artistic traditions with curated Japanese artworks and architectural elements inspired by the Higashiyama culture.

Situated near iconic landmarks such as Kenninji Temple and Kiyomizu Temple, the hotel offers guests a deep connection to Kyoto’s cultural and historical identity. Amenities include Capella’s Auriga Spa, featuring private onsen-style treatment rooms, and three distinct dining options, including a modern brasserie and an intimate omakase-style dining venue.

Rosewood Miyakojima, Japan (March 2025)

Opening in March 2025, Rosewood Miyakojima will be Rosewood’s first property in Japan, located on Okinawa’s Miyakojima island. Designed by Andre Fu, the hotel will offer 252 guest rooms starting at 50 square meters, complemented by three distinctive dining venues, including the iconic Peacock Alley lounge and bar.

Guests will have access to an indoor pool, wellness center, fitness facilities, and dedicated personal concierges. The hotel will also feature a wedding chapel and extensive banquet and meeting spaces, catering to both celebratory and business events.
