Taylor Swift Earns Another Super Bowl Berth

In the NFL, it’s hard enough to get to the Super Bowl one time, let alone multiple times in a row. So congratulations to Taylor Swift, who just earned her second Super Bowl invite in a row. And, sure, to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his Kansas City Chiefs, on the way to their third in a row. But is Swift going to the Big Game? The star hasn’t made her plans clear, but come on — you just don’t pass up a trip to the Super Bowl. Swift hasn’t attended a game outside of Kansas City since last year’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas. That’s reportedly due to security concerns after a thwarted terrorist attack on her tour this summer, with a source telling “Page Six” Swift won’t go to a venue unless “it has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance.” Security will already be high in New Orleans this year following the New Year’s Day attack on Bourbon Street, and the two-week lead-up to the Super Bowl likely gives Swift’s team more time to get everything in order. Plus, she just can’t miss the Chiefs taking on her childhood favorite Philadelphia Eagles.

Swift was in the building when the Chiefs sealed her a ticket to Super Bowl LIX, where “Bad Blood” feature Kendrick Lamar will perform at halftime. After the win against the Buffalo Bills, Swift took the field hand in hand with Donna Kelce, Travis’s mother, to celebrate. She kissed Travis amid the confetti, and was even seen hugging fellow WAG Brittany Mahomes. Enjoy it, Taylor — we swear, this doesn’t happen every year.
