Zack Fox got his start under the alias “Bootymath,” so it makes sense that there’s an urge deep inside of him to shake some peaches. In the Vulture Spot at Sundance 2025, Fox, who’s starring in the upcoming film Lurker, says he wants to be a “video ho” for GloRilla. “I just wanna be almost naked in all her videos … These movies, they just justify my video ho career” he confessed. “Or let [Théodore Pellerin], because surprisingly, he can throw ass,” Archie Madekwe added as the rest of the cast chimed in to vouch for Pellerin’s ass-throwing skills. No need to pit two kings against one another; send both of them to the dance floor.
Written and directed by Alex Russell, Lurker follows retail employee Matthew (Pellerin), who infiltrates the clique of a rising musician, Oliver (Madekwe). As Fox’s good friend and music-video director, Russell worried that the stress of directing his first feature film would ruin his relationship with him. “I was so afraid that he would see me at my worst,” Russell explained as he turned his head back to face Fox. “’Cause we’re so close and have known each other for such a long time but haven’t been in a super-high-pressure work scenario. If I’m crying — or him seeing me crying or screaming, I didn’t know how I was going to act.”
