Police seek man suspected of committing lewd act at UM

Authorities are investigating a lewd and lascivious act that they said took place at the University of Miami’s Coral Gables campus over the weekend.

According to an email from the University of Miami Police Department shared with Local 10 News, a female student was studying inside the Shalala Student Center around 11:11 p.m. Sunday when a male suspect approached her without clothing and fondled himself.

Investigators described the suspect as having a medium complexion and an afro.
