Two people were injured in a car crash that occurred early Friday morning on the MacArthur Causeway at Terminal Isle, Miami Beach police confirmed to Local 10 News.
According to police, the crash was reported around 12:30 a.m.
Police said two people were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center by the Miami Beach Fire Department.
“As a result of the incident, the MacArthur Causeway between Fountain Street and 5th Street and Alton Road is fully closed while the Miami Beach Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit conducts a thorough assessment of the scene,” MBPD said in an email to Local 10.
The investigation remains ongoing.
No other details were immediately released.
