- Blanca Commercial announced the promotion of Andres del Corral to Vice Chairman. Del Corral, who previously served as Executive Vice President, has been with the firm for 14 years. Throughout his tenure, he has played a role in leasing major Miami-Dade properties and representing high-profile corporate clients.
- JKM Developers obtained a $28.25 million construction loan to complete the retail phase of Lotis Wellington, which will include a Cooper’s Hawk restaurant. Amerant Bank provided the mortgage for the retail phase of the project at 1381 S. State Road 7. Lotis Wellington blends over 150,000 square feet of shopping, dining, entertainment, and workplace options with both rental and for-sale residences.
- B+E, the first net lease brokerage firm with a proprietary technology platform, today announced Carson Jeremiah’s and Katherine Berg’s return to the B+E broker team in the company’s Tampa office. They had each left to work for their respective families’ companies, and they have now both returned to B+E.
- Codina Partners has promoted Eric Blanco to Senior Vice President of Accounting and hired Suzette Fandino as Senior Vice President of Finance. Blanco, who previously served as Vice President of Accounting and Finance at Codina Partners, oversees all accounting operations for the firm. In her new role, Fandino will lead Codina Partners’ financial underwriting, property valuation, and market analysis for acquisitions and development opportunities. She will also manage the company’s banking relationships.
- Marcus & Millichap announced the $4.75 million sale of a 20,504-square-foot development site located at 938-950 SW 8th Street in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. The site consists of a 14,500-square-foot vacant lot and a 2,238-square-foot vacant restaurant. The two adjacent parcels allow for up to 70 residential units or 140 hotel keys. The property is situated on SW 8th Street.
