Reheating Nachos, Delulu, and Slay Were Put to Rest by Lady Gaga and Bowen Yang

Lady Gaga and Bowen Yang have an important message for those suffering from brain rot: stop using all the slang you learned from TikTok. During a sketch on SNL, the two stop their friend from saying the word “slay,” suggesting to them to simplify their language. “We can’t just repeat one word, when there’s so many words to use,” Yang belts out. “No more slay. We know it sounds impossible but there are other words to say.” Gaga offers an alternative response. “From now on, when something rocks, we just say, ‘Wow, I like that,’” Gaga adds. Other words and phrases that are now banned include: bop, flex, pooing on the mother toilet, foot on people’s necks, and I’m living/dead. “No more reheating nachos, that one is actually new,” Yang suggests, as a callback to Gaga’s interview on the matter a few days before. “Let’s just nip it in the bud before CNN learns it, too.” We’re only one video away before that becomes our future.
