Genesis, a 2020 Horizon FD87, has accommodations for 10 guests in four staterooms with six heads, plus crew quarters for three. Yacht Connexion has listed Genesis for $7.75 million.

Powered by twin 1,600 hp MTU diesel engines, Genesis can reach a reported top-end speed of 18 knots, with a 12-knot cruising speed. Bow and stern thrusters assist with close-quarters maneuvering.

The yacht has a hydraulic swim platform with a 2,500-pound capacity. There is also a concealed swim ladder, integrated sunshade and a beach club for relaxing at the water’s edge.  A 2020 Twin Vee 24′ tender with twin 140 hp Suzuki outboards is included in the sale. 

Genesis‘ cockpit has a folding leaf hi/low table and seating for eight to 10 guests for alfresco meals. A Vitrifrigo refrigerator and Raritan ice maker reduce trips to the galley.

The flybridge houses the pilothouse and skylounge, with three Stidd helm chairs and a full electronics suite. A settee with a sliding table provides guest seating, while entertainment options include a 55-inch pop-up TV and a wet bar with four swivel barstools, a 48-inch Frigid Rigid ice chest, Raritan ice maker and Vitrifrigo refrigerator. A retractable grill and 2,500-pound Steelhead davit complete the amenities.

For those seeking a more intimate setting, the foredeck offers a C-shaped settee with table and sun pads, providing an alternative relaxation area with ocean views.

Genesis’ salon has sole-to-ceiling windows for light and views. A light wood sole complements the modern décor, which includes a plush white-leather couch. There’s also a 55-inch LED TV that’s paired with a Sonos sound system. Forward, Genesis’ dining area has a table with retractable ends, comfortably seating up to eight guests for formal dinners. A day head is found just inside the salon door.

The galley is forward with a 30-inch Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer and GE appliances, including an oven, cooktop, range and dishwasher. A full-height pantry and sizable stowage throughout ensure that provisions are within easy reach. There’s also a KitchenAid trash compactor. 

After a long day on the water, owners and guests can retire to one of four staterooms. Genesis’ has an on-deck owners’ stateroom with a light-wood sole and a neutral color palette creating a serene vibe. A skylight adds natural light enhancing the sense of volume. A king-sized berth, 55-inch LED TV and a chaise lounge provide space for serious relaxation. The en suite has dual sinks, a spacious shower and separate toilet Belowdecks, there is a forepeak VIP stateroom, a 43-inch TV, en suite head and a hanging locker for personal belongings. Two additional mirrored guest staterooms, have 43-inch LED TVs, under-berth drawers, hanging lockers and en suite heads.
