JoJo Siwa can handle herself — she once Army-carried Tom Sandoval up a hill — so she can definitely handle Mickey Rourke. The odd pair are both currently on Celebrity Big Brother in the U.K., and by day two, it’s not going well. Rourke, it turns out, is very comfortable being homophobic toward Siwa. Per the BBC, Rourke, 72, asked Siwa, 21, if she is attracted to boys or girls, to which she said, “Girls. My partner is nonbinary.” Rourke responded, “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay any more.” Rourke also said he was “going to vote the lesbian out real quick.” Later, when heading out to smoke, he remarked, “I need a fag,” then, gesturing to Siwa, “I’m not talking to you.” Of course, using British slang for “cigarette” works a lot better if you’re not from Schenectady. Later, Rourke was called to the Diary Room, where Big Brother told him, “Further language or behavior of this nature could lead to you being removed from the Big Brother house.” “I’ve got a habit of having a short fuse,” Rourke told Siwa, who responded, “I appreciate your apology.”

And that graciousness from Siwa is lovely and all, but Big Brother could just let her speak his language if they want to get through to him. Rourke, notably, worked as a boxer for multiple years, including in the ’90s after his movie career dried up. All we’re saying? “Karma’s a bitch, and she’s with you right now.”
