Giddy Up, Ransom Canyon Season Two Is Brewing

Don’t worry, partner. If you’ve already binged every episode of Ransom Canyon, you might not have to wait as long as you might think to get a little bit more romance on the ranch. Despite not having an official second season announcement from Netflix, creator April Blair told Deadline that there’s a writers’ room working on the next season right now. When asked about Yancy Grey’s big secret that was being kept from his love interest Ellie Estevez, aka she found out he has a wife, Blair offers a cute Easter Egg as well as hope that we’ll get some answers to who the Brunette woman is. “That was Erica Dasher, and she was just there to visit and I said, ‘Will you, will you be the back of his wife’s head? And she’s like, ‘I will if you let me audition for her,’” Blair explained. “Obviously it’ll be a brunette, but it’s a fun, now that we’re in the room on season two, it’s a very fun character that’s shaping up and a very juicy backstory.” Juicier than a secret marriage?
