Tribute Boats, established in 1992 in Stuart, Florida, specializes in building custom high-performance sport-fishing boats. The 2008 61-foot Tribute called Typhoon I is well–known for its billfish-raising prowess during its time in Costa Rica. The yacht is currently residing in Stuart, Florida, and is listed by Allied Marine for $2.8 million. 

According to the broker, it was built and maintained by an extremely knowledgeable owner. Some of the notable features include a repower with 1,900 hp CAT C32A engines, full paint and installation of an omni sonar in 2019. In February 2024, the engines received their 1,000-hour service at 3,450 hours, which included valve calibration, aftercoolers serviced, heat exchangers flushed, transmission heat exchangers cleaned, and impellers replaced plus all zincs, fuel, water and air filters replaced.

The boat’s layout consists of three staterooms and two heads, with two staterooms offering bunks for additional sleeping capacity, perfect for overnight trips. Among its many features, Typhoon I features triple-spreader Rupp outriggers, two generators, an icemaker, a watermaker, a Marquipt davit for a bow-mounted skiff and an Alfa Laval fuel polishing system.
