Belly Faces the Battle of the Brothers

It’s all fun and games until your ex, who’s also your boyfriend’s brother, shows up. Men just have a microchip that’s programmed to show up at the worst possible time. For the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, Belly (Lola Tung) is in the honeymoon phase with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) for the summer before her senior year of college. During the teaser trailer, Taylor Swift’s “Daylight” becomes the soundtrack to their romance until… Conrad (Christopher Briney) shows up to give Belly her Red era. However, if you’re a TSITP bookworm and think you know who’s going to be Belly’s end game, think again. “There are going to be surprises,” showrunner Jenny Han says. “There are the things that they know and then there are things they think they know, and then there’s going to be, hopefully, things that surprise them.” Fingers crossed for a song from Reputation (TV).

The new season drops on Amazon Prime Video on July 16 with all 11 episodes to close the books up.
