“I’m a celebrity, I’m a football player, and I respect everybody, you know, but when something happens to me, I’m going to make it be known,” Pierre-Paul told Local 10 News on Sunday.

The incident occurred as the former New York Giants and Miami Dolphins defensive lineman was leaving the club’s VIP area and heading toward the dance floor. He said a group of people surrounded him, making it difficult for him to move.

“There was this one group of people probably in their 40s, 35 or 40s, that did not want to move. You know, and it was like kind of weird because I’m a big guy and they don’t wanna move and as I was asking them to move, they were moving with me,” he said.

Pierre-Paul described the situation as chaotic, likening it to a “large mosh pit.” He said the group eventually dissipated after several minutes, and he thought he was in the clear.

However, about 15 minutes later, while closing out his bar tab, Pierre-Paul realized his watch was missing.

“I looked and the watch was gone. Automatically I know, I turned to my boy and said, ‘Yo, they stole my watch,’” he said.

After reporting the theft to police, Pierre-Paul took to social media to raise awareness about the situation. He is now urging others to stay vigilant.

“You gotta be aware of your surroundings, and I just want everyone to be aware that their nightclub is not a safe place to come,” Pierre-Paul added.

The Seminole Police Department is investigating this incident along with another case involving the theft of a different watch. It remains unclear whether the two incidents are related.

Anyone with information on the watch is urged to call the SPD at (954) 967-5100 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
