The 2017 Azimut 77 known as Carpe Diem combines Italian craftsmanship with innovation from a well-respected international builder. It’s located in Flamingo, Costa Rica, and offered by Galati Yacht Sales for $1.9 million. 

The vessel features twin Seakeeper gyro stabilizers and brand-new electric retractable sunshades in 2025 to Starlink connectivity and a four-stateroom, four-head layout. Carpe Diem’s three 900 hp Volvo IPS1200 engines offer cruising at 21 knots and a top speed of nearly 30 knots, according to the broker. As of September 2025, the engines have approximately 2,300 hours on them.

A cruise ship was anchored just offshore with numerous tenders continually transporting tourists into the harbor. The Festival de la Plaisance Cannes was in full swing, and every hour or so, another fleet of yachts passed through the show’s swing bridge opening to give potential owners a hands-on experience. Once these yachts cleared Vieux Port, they were up on plane, generating a chaotic weave of wakes that roiled the anchored fleet, which otherwise would have been moored within the Old Port. And when the land breeze began to blow, the bay chop peaked up and was as perfect a place to test a boat as I might have imagined.”
