Baglietto has introduced the DOM155, the Italian yacht builder’s latest and largest model in its DOM line of displacement yachts. The project follows Baglietto’s DOM133, which saw 12 units sold, and the DOM115, which has four hulls sold to date.

According to Baglietto, the DOM155 builds on the design and layout set by its siblings, drawing on the “Roman domus” concept that emphasizes comfort, warmth and functional livability. The DOM 155’s larger dimensions allow for increased interior volume and expanded outdoor spaces. Exterior lines are by Stefano Vafiadis, who describes the profile as clean and sculptural, with longitudinal cuts and taut volumes influenced by automotive design.

As with the DOM133, the DOM 155 is constructed in aluminium. Baglietto says this aluminum allows for increased customization, improves performance and enables a relatively shallow-draft yacht.

A primary feature of the DOM155 is the stern layout, set up as a flexible space that’s focused on relaxation and easy water access. The space includes an infinity pool as well as twin staircases leading to the cockpit. The portside staircase lowers, providing access to the yacht’s beach club. The beach club can be arranged as a wellness area with a spa and a gym or as an expanded garage for a tender. There is also a transformer platform.

Interior and exterior spaces are closely connected via sole-to-ceiling glass and opening doors on the main deck. The main deck has indoor and outdoor lounges, a dining area for 10, a galley with pantry, and a full-beam owner’s suite forward. The owner’s space includes an office with a walk-in closet, a California king-size bed and a his-and-hers head with a walk-through shower.

There are four en suite guest staterooms belowdecks, with an option for an additional stateroom on the upper deck. Crew quarters for eight are located forward on the lower deck. The upper deck has a salon that’s open on three sides, outdoor dining and relaxation areas, and a private lounge. A 426-square-foot sun deck with 360-degree views completes the setup, with seating, sunbathing real estate and an infinity pool with integrated bar. Power is twin Caterpillar C32 diesels, delivering a reported top-end speed of 16 knots.

The first DOM 155 should launch in 2029.
