Originally built in 1988, it has undergone several renovations since that time to keep its systems updated and current. According to the brokerage team at Worth Avenue Yacht Sales, Starship also has a proven charter history and has been meticulously maintained by a professional crew under the current ownership. It’s located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and offered by Worth Avenue for $3.895 million. 

Starship’s classic interior features a blend of marble, makore and mahogany throughout the salon. In 2003/2004, the vessel had an $8 million refit including new interior furnishings, full paint job, and 8’ sundeck extension, and new 3512B Caterpillar engines were installed in 2003. In 2006, new Quantum Marine Zero Speed stabilizers were installed. In 2015, a $2 million refit was done including full paint and interior soft goods for the main salon. The refit in 2020 featured a skylounge remodel, bottom paint, two new 10-ton chillers installed, and many more. The most recent 2025 refit included having full zero-time engine rebuilds down to the crank including all updates, $1 million in parts and labor. Starship cruises at 11 to 13 knots with a maximum of 17 knots, with the KaMeWa waterjet propulsion offering a smooth ride with a seven-foot draft.
