Max Scherzer, the Major League Baseball pitcher known to fans as Mad Max, sold an unfinished mansion in Jupiter’s gated Admirals Cove neighborhood for $23 million. Records show Scherzer and his wife, Erica, sold the property at 217 Commodore Drive to Thomas and Kimberly Abrams of Northville, Michigan. Holly Meyer Lucas, Kimberly Thomson and Courtney Payne with Compass had the listing, and Rob Thomson with Waterfront Properties and Club Communities brought the buyer.
