Conceived as a support vessel, 53m steel and aluminium superyacht KAIYO now called LIMERENCE (previously Project Sea Club) evolved into a project capable of carrying a huge range of toys but also presenting with superyacht standard guest accommodations and open deck spaces. The team from Alia Yachts, with designers from Azure Yacht Design and Diana Yacht Design, collaborated to create an efficient and fast hull capable of oceanic range and off-grid exploration and fun.
The owner required a support vessel that could also fulfil the role of entertaining and accommodating their guests in comfort. This led to the creating of a stylish salon, aft deck lounge and dining area, sundeck including a bar and lounge and even a huge water’s edge beach club. One large master and two further guest suites can accommodate up to six guests.
“Alia Yachts couldn’t be more proud of Kaiyo,” said Alia President, Gökhan Çelik “She is an exceptional yacht that marries utility and luxury in a new way that doesn’t compromise either. On the one hand, the boat offers superyacht accommodation for six and epic entertaining space – on the other, there is unparalleled toy storage space, including a helicopter and a Triton submersible. Kaiyo is the ultimate showcase for Alia’s skills and a new breath to the ever-growing demand for utilitarian vessels.”
Her raised aft deck – designed by Azure Yacht Design – is multi-functional: as a fully certified helicopter deck and bunker; as an extended entertainment space including a lounge and dancefloor; and as a volleyball or basketball court with flush lighting and wall netting.
Her eyewatering list of large toys and tenders includes:
- Airbus H145 helicopter
- Triton 660/7 submersible
- 13m custom Alia guest launch
- 2m Cockwells beach lander
- 1m Ski Nautique waterskiing boat
Sailing boats and additional power craft includes:
- 2 x RS Teras
- 2 x RS Cat 14s
- 2 x 230hp SeaDoo WakePros
- 2 x Yamaha Superjects
- 2 x Seabobs
Other toys
- Foiling flight boards
- Jet boards
- Stand-up-paddleboards
- Pedal boards
- Tandem kayaks
- Towable boards and skis
- Dive shop
- Inflatable beach park
- Survivor obstacle course
“A yacht of this pedigree is not destined to spend much of its life in harbour,” added Çelik. “True to her calling, KAIYO has already planned the long crossing to the Caribbean on route to the United States – simple enough with her 4,100 nautical mile range and 15 knot speed.”
Her lucky owner took deliver of LIMERENCE in January and already has bold plans to use the boat’s extensive technical capabilities as well as her capacity for entertaining guests in style.
