Congratulotions to Ariana Grande! The star earned her first Oscar nomination for playing G(a)linda in Wicked. “I cannot stop crying, to no one’s surprise,” she wrote on Instagram. And Grande is celebrating by reminding the world, once again, that she’s always been this theater nerd. “I’m humbled and deeply honored to be in such brilliant company and sharing this with tiny ari who sat and studied Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow just before the big, beautiful bubble entered,” she wrote, alongside a photo of her dressed as Dorothy as a child. “I’m so proud of you, tiny.” Grande also included a video of a tween Ari singing “The Wizard and I.” Wrong song, but it’s the thought (and cuteness) that counts!

Grande thanked director Jon Chu, co-star Cynthia Erivo (“you deserve every flower (tulip) in every garden”), and her “beautiful Wicked family.” “I don’t quite have all my words yet, i’m still trying to breathe,” she wrote. “But thank you. oh my goodness, thank you.” Now just think of the acceptance speech she’d give!
