Sozo is a classic 1998 Ocean Alexander 50 Sport Sedan motoryacht with a strong reputation for solid engineering, seaworthiness and high-quality building materials. This vessel has been upgraded over the years and kept in immaculate condition. Sozo is located in Scottsboro, Alabama and offered by Curtis Stokes and Associates for $274,500.

Twin Volvo Penta TAMD 73P-A diesel engines that produce 430 hp each can push this vessel up to a top speed of 20 knots, but dialing it back to a more comfortable 15 knot cruise speed will greatly increase fuel efficiency and range. These diesel engines are paired with Twin Disc MG 507-A1 transmissions and three-blade Nibral propellers, with a Naiad Van Dusen and Meyer stabilization system. There are two power sources available while away from the dock: a Northern Lights 9 kW diesel generator and 1,850 watts of solar panels above the flybridge that supply a large battery bank and a Xantrex Freedom 100amp/2,000 watt inverter/charger.

Sozo is owner-operator friendly and can be piloted from the pilothouse or the flybridge, which is equipped with a full canvas and isinglass enclosure. Skippers will feel comfortable and confident with the following electronic and navigation systems:

Step aboard via the swim platform where dual side steps lead up to the cockpit, which is partially shaded by the flybridge and a cockpit awning with three side curtains. The cockpit features SeaDeck flooring, a Magma stainless-steel one-burner propane cooktop and a Magma stainless-steel grill. Stainless-steel side rails lead to the foredeck which is equipped with a davit to launch and stow a small tender and a Mantus M2 anchor.

Two sliding glass doors lead into the salon from the cockpit. The woodwork is illuminated from the natural light that flows in from the large side windows, which can also open to circulate fresh air. The salon features two large recliners with table, loveseat, 32-inch flat-screen TV, Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo with speakers, Starlink internet for owners and guests to enjoy.

Forward the salon to port and adjacent to the lower helm is the U-shaped galley. Owners can prepare and serve just about any type of meal on extended excursions with the following galley amenities:

The master en suite stateroom is located in the bow and features a queen berth, two hanging lockers, two under cabinet stowage areas, four under berth drawers, 32-inch flatscreen TV and four port windows that open for fresh air. The port side VIP stateroom features a queen berth, three drawer night stand, 21-inch flat-screen TV with DVD player, hanging locker, two port windows that open and 12v/USB charging outlets. The starboard side guest stateroom features two twin berths, stowage cabinet and drawers, two port windows and a Splendid washer/dryer combo.
