The Princess V62 can be powered by twin Caterpillar or MAN diesels, with either engine package allowing top-end speeds in the mid-30-knot range and a comfortable cruise of around 26 knots. A deep-V hull ensures capable offshore handling. Notable features include a hydraulic swim platform and a tender garage, as well as a three-stateroom, two-head layout.

This yacht’s combination of performance and amenities makes it a sought-after brokerage model. As of press time, there were 13 Princess Yachts V62s available, ranging from $570,000 to $1.47 million.

“While the ‘bigger is better’ mantra has been the rule for a decade, some supersize designs look awkward. This is not the case with the V62, which is something of a sweet spot. The cockpit has a seating area and a table opposite a wet bar with a refrigerated drink box and grill. A sunpad aft covers the garage, which can accommodate an 11-foot rigid inflatable tender.”
