Slovenia-based Greenline Yachts will debut its midsize Greenline 42 at the Düsseldorf International Boat show, also known as boot, in January 2026.

A Marco Casali design, the 42-foot, family-size cruiser is notable for its flexible cockpit layout. In one scenario, the cockpit can have opposing settees with a table at the transom for alfresco dining or keep it open with loose furniture. A “dropdown transom” setup expands the usable real estate for entertaining and watersports. A foredeck sunpad creates a getaway at the quay or a place to take in the sunset with friends.

In either cockpit, the aft galley in the salon is to port, creating seamless service between guests inside and outside. Forward of the galley is an L-shaped settee and a table, creating a great place for guests to converse with the skipper and take in the nearly 360-degree view.  Casali has created three interior decor options all built around natural materials and a warm palette.

The accommodations belowdecks include a forepeak owners’ space and side-by-side berths abaft and to port for guests. There can be one or two heads. Two options involve removing the head to make space for either a vanity/desk in the forepeak or have an extra closet.

Powered by twin 250 hp diesels, the projected top speed is 25 knots. The H-Drive 6G option enables the Greenline 42 to operate on electric only at 6.5 knots. Additionally, 10 solar panels on the Greenline 42’s hardtop reportedly produce up to 4.3kW to power onboard systems and battery recharging.

“The Greenline 42 reflects everything we know about building enduring, high-quality yachts,” says CEO Vladimir Zinchenko. “It’s designed to provide decades of enjoyment, with options that make each yacht unique to its owner.”
