The still-unnamed HBO Harry Potter series announced a flurry of magical castings on April 14. Joining John Lithgow’s Professor Dumbledore will be Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Nick Frost as Hagrid, Luke Thallon as Professor Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse as Mr. Filch. Many of these casting choices were rumored, but now HBO is confirming all these people are willing to work with J.K. Rowling. Someone tell Azealia Banks.

“Exploring every corner of the wizarding world, each season will bring Harry Potter and its incredible adventures to new and existing audiences,” a press release reads. So it’s going to be one book a season, it sounds like. Rowling is credited as an executive producer, with Succession’s Francesca Gardiner serving as showrunner and executive producer. Succession’s Mark Mylod is also executive-producing, as well as directing several episodes. The presser also says “the original, classic, and cherished films will remain at the core of the franchise,” so don’t look for any huge aesthetic pivots from the movies/theme parks/merch that still do gangbusters at Universal Studios.
