According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Heat are trading Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors.

Heading back to Miami in the deal is Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson and a lottery protected first-round draft pick.

The report did not indicate what year the draft pick was for.

The Detroit Pistons are also involved in the trade.

Detroit is receiving Josh Richardson from Miami and Lindy Waters III from Golden State in the deal, per Charania.

The Heat were playing in Philadelphia when the trade was made.

Miami currently sits in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with 34 games remaining in the regular season, including a visit from Butler and the Warriors to South Florida on March 25.
