Vacationers were still taking advantage of the sun and hitting the beaches in full force Saturday amid South Florida’s spring break season.

From the bars to the beach, Tyler Vescera, visiting from Connecticut, said, “It’s fantastic. Absolutely loving it.”

The party continued in full swing on Fort Lauderdale Beach as spring breakers packed in along State Road A1A.

Jacob Pequin, visiting from Fort Myers, said, “Because it’s so fun. It was like, we thought it would be so much more packed. It’s packed, so fun. But it’s just a vibe. It’s sick.”

It’s the third week in a row and is anticipated to be one of the busiest weekends.

“So far it’s been beautiful, everyone has been pretty calm,” Keith Garfinkel, visiting from New York, said. “It’s been a really nice family vacation.”

Increased crowds in Fort Lauderdale are no surprise, as Miami Beach officials continue with their break-up plan.

They’re going “no contact” with spring break amid increased parking rates, restrictions and curfews, all in an effort to deter large crowds from flooding South Beach.

In a somewhat surprising turn of events, spring breakers located the waters of Sunny Isles Beach on Friday.

Sky 10 captured what appeared to be hundreds on what is typically not a jam-packed beach.

At one point, local police asked the crowds to disperse Friday.

No major issues have been reported by area law enforcement agencies.

The final weekend of March is expected to be the busiest spring break weekend.
