John Oliver Calls Elon Musk ‘One of the Worst White Guys’ From South Africa

Emmy-winning Last Week Tonight is back and it is not happy. John Oliver devoted the entire episode to recapping the month we’ve had of Trump 2.0 (has it really only been about a month? Because we’ve all gone from Kate Winslet to Gloria Stuart in that time). He also spent some time castigating the democrats for doing fuck all. “Now is absolutely not the time to be looking away and saying ‘this is what you fuckers voted for’ and turning your backs,” he said. Oliver spent a lot of his time discussing “parasitic freak” Elon Musk, who has been taking point on a lot of the worst things done thus far. Oliver specifically called out the dismantling of USAID, and how it has affected Musk’s native South Africa. Speaking of a clinic on Johannesburg that USAID no longer funds, Oliver suggested they hang up a sign that reads “We can’t help you thanks to one of the worst white guys South Africa has ever produced (which is really saying something).” It really, really is.
