Merry Chicken Jockey, war is over! Warner Brothers has announced a new set of A Minecraft Movie screenings where you can scream and sing your little heart out— if you buy a special ticket, that is. Theaters are adding “Block Party Editions” of A Minecraft Movie for Friday, May 2; it’s essentially a sing-along edition where theatergoers are free to be goofy, and obviously, it’s a safe space to scream “Chicken Jockey.” Since the film’s premiere, fans have been kicked out of theaters by police and reprimanded for throwing popcorn, screaming, and even bringing livestock for a Rocky Horror-esque viewing experience of the video game movie. However, after earning $815 million at the global box office, Warner Brothers has found a way to make even more money. It only took them long enough, maybe Jack Black didn’t have space in his schedule to remind people of the rules.
