Motek: A Sweetheart of Mediterranean Cuisine in Boca Raton

Boca Raton is set to welcome a new culinary gem to its vibrant dining scene with the upcoming opening of Motek, a kosher-style Mediterranean restaurant. The name "Motek," which translates to "sweetheart" in Hebrew, reflects the restaurant’s commitment to providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for its guests. Located on Restaurant Row, this family-owned establishment will occupy a spacious 7,200 square feet at the northeast corner of Town Center and Butts roads.

The lease was facilitated by Michael Silverman and Jeff Evans of Comras Company, who represented the tenant, while Jenny Schuemann and Ian Weiner of Pebb Enterprises represented the landlord. Pebb Enterprises, a Boca Raton-based company, recently completed the 22,500-square-foot Restaurant Row development, which is already home to other notable dining establishments such as Stage Kitchen & Bar, El Camino, and chef Fabio Trabocchi’s Fiolina Pasta House. The strategic location near the Town Center at Boca Raton mall positions Motek to attract both local residents and visitors alike.

Presidente Supermarkets: A New Grocery Destination in Miami Gardens

In another exciting development, Presidente Supermarkets is set to expand its footprint with a new location in Miami Gardens, scheduled to open in July next year. This grocery store will occupy 26,800 square feet at 5580 Northwest 167th Street, providing the community with a diverse selection of products and services.

The leasing process involved the expertise of Alan and Josh Levy from Levy Realty Advisors, who represented the landlord, while Neyda Bravo and Luis Gonzalez of Bravo & Partners represented the tenant. The building is owned by two entities, one led by Andrew Pastor and David Zimmerman, and the other by Alan Levy, ensuring a solid foundation for the new grocery store.

Sunness Supper Club: A Unique Dining Experience in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale is also experiencing a culinary renaissance with the opening of Sunness Supper Club, a new dining concept that promises to deliver a unique experience to its patrons. The restaurant has leased a 6,000-square-foot space at 2465 East Sunrise Boulevard, with a seating capacity for 130 guests.

Owner and operator Michael Stanley is venturing into the brick-and-mortar restaurant scene for the first time, having previously operated MK Takeaways, a service that delivers chef-prepared meals to homes. The Sunness Supper Club is named in honor of Stanley’s grandfather, adding a personal touch to the establishment. The building is owned by an entity led by Shiu H. Lam, further solidifying the restaurant’s presence in the area.

Apple Store Expansion: A Tech Hub in Fort Lauderdale

The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale is set to become an even more significant retail destination with the expansion of the Apple Store. The tech giant has doubled its space to 12,000 square feet at the mall located at 2414 East Sunrise Boulevard. This expansion reflects Apple’s commitment to providing an enhanced shopping experience for its customers.

The Galleria is owned by Keystone Florida Property Holding, a title holding company that benefits the Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System. This expansion not only highlights the growing demand for technology products but also reinforces the Galleria’s status as a premier shopping destination in Fort Lauderdale.

Hürrem Hammam Wellness & Spa: A Turkish Retreat in North Miami Beach

For those seeking relaxation and wellness, Hürrem Hammam Wellness & Spa is set to open its doors in North Miami Beach next month. This luxurious spa and Turkish hammam will occupy 20,000 square feet at 14652 Biscayne Boulevard, offering a serene escape for visitors.

The establishment is owned by Aventura-based Triarch Capital Group, along with Shlomy Alexander and Gil Neumann of Kent Services. Despite some controversies surrounding the Alexander family, the spa aims to provide a tranquil environment for guests looking to unwind and rejuvenate.

Playa Wynwood: A Cultural Hub in Miami

Finally, the Wynwood neighborhood in Miami has welcomed Playa Wynwood, an entertainment venue that promises to be a cultural hotspot. This vibrant space has leased 15,000 square feet of indoor space and an additional 18,000 square feet of outdoor space at 2129 Northwest First Court.

Owned by an entity led by Rene Morales and Sandra Clavijo, Playa Wynwood will offer a variety of cultural, music, and entertainment offerings, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. The venue aims to foster a sense of community while celebrating the rich artistic heritage of the Wynwood area.

Conclusion

The recent developments in Boca Raton, Miami Gardens, Fort Lauderdale, North Miami Beach, and Wynwood reflect a dynamic and evolving landscape in South Florida’s dining and retail sectors. With new restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment venues opening their doors, residents and visitors alike can look forward to an enriched experience that celebrates culinary diversity, wellness, and culture.
