Police release recording of Tyreek Hill’s mother-in-law asking for help: ‘He is crazy’

Police released the recording of the 911 call Tyreek Hill’s mother-in-law made on Monday saying she was afraid of him.

Alesia Vaccaro said she was with the 31-year-old Miami Dolphins wide receiver, her daughter, Keeta Hill, and their baby on Monday in Sunny Isles Beach.

Vaccaro, her voice shaking, said she was afraid of her son-in-law, so she was hiding in a room in a condo along Collins Avenue to call 911.

“I need help, please .. Hurry … I am scared because this is way up high… I don’t know what to do … This is awful … He has the baby … He is crazy,” Vaccaro told a 911 dispatcher, according to the recording.

Sunny Isles police officers responded to a report of an “assault in progress” after the 911 call, shortly before 2 p.m., at the condo near 178 Street, records show.

“He said he was going to make his mom beat me up,” she told dispatch, according to the recording.

Vaccaro also told the 911 dispatch that at one point during the conflict she “got in between” when he was going to grab the baby from her daughter.

“No, you did it. You are mean … You are not going to do this … and I don’t care,” Vaccaro told Tyreek Hill while raising her voice during her call with the 911 dispatcher who asked her not to “intervene.”

Vaccaro told the dispatcher that he started yelling when he realized that she had called the police and he was trying to get her to come out of the room.

“Where is the police? His family got here before you all did … I think the police are here … I can hear the police. I am scared,” she said.

The recording also captured Tyreek Hill yelling.

“You said I am going to throw my baby out the balcony,” he shouted after police officers arrived, according to the recording.

A witness’s video shows Hill was on a 35th-floor balcony holding his 5-month-old daughter and looking over the edge.

Vaccaro reported that she had temporarily moved in with the couple in November to help them care for their newborn, and she witnessed how Hill was “very aggressive and impulsive,” a police officer wrote in an incident report.

Vacarro told a police officer it all started to get scary when she saw Hill throw a laptop on the floor as he argued with her daughter, Keeta Hill, who told police officers that when her husband gets angry he “throws objects around.”

Keeta Hill told police officers that they had been getting couple’s therapy, but it was “not working out” so she decided to file for divorce, according to the report.

Tyreek Hill told police officers that he had just gotten home after training when he got into an argument with Keeta Hill, and he picked up his daughter, but he didn’t hurt anyone, the report stated.

Police officers reported Keeta Hill had a bruise on her upper chest, and she said it was likely unintentional and it happened when he took the baby away from her, according to the report.

“I have the same rights as a father as her as a mother, and I can take my baby whenever I want,” the NFL player told police officers, according to the report.

The Miami Dolphins released a statement on Wednesday acknowledging that police officers had responded to Tyreek Hill’s home.

“After conversations with Tyreek and members of his family, the police departed the residence without further incident and the case was closed,” the team’s spokesperson wrote in the statement.

Police officers reported the baby was not injured, so they decided not to arrest him and he left his home, records show.
