On Monday, crash debris still littered the area, along with flowers and teddy bears left as condolences for the woman who was killed in the crash and the individuals who were rushed to the hospital.

Pembroke Pines police say a senior citizen was killed in the crash. Investigators said a driver was speeding and could face criminal charges.

Joe Behnam, who lives near the deadly crash site, said he’s seen far too many speeding drivers, nasty crashes and close calls at the same intersection of Dykes Road and Northwest 12th Street.

“I wish they… I don’t know what they can do about it, but they need to do something,” Behnam said. “We need to improve the safety in this area.”

Authorities haven’t identified those involved.
