Rihanna and Ciara Booked That Reunion U Speak Of

The last time Rihanna and Ciara were pictured together was at the 2010 Grammy Awards — a year and one month before the two fell into a now-legendary Twitter spat that ended with Rihanna telling Ciara, “Good luck with booking that stage u speak of.” At the Met Gala on May 5, the two pop stars appeared to bury the hatchet. Inside the event, photographers snapped pics of them together, with Ciara touching Rihanna’s pregnant belly and posing while Rih grinned. Then, there were photos taken with Rihanna, Ciara, Rihanna’s partner A$AP Rocky, and Ciara’s husband Russell Wilson. And also, Jeff Goldblum was there for this historic meeting of the couples, the reason for which is still unclear.

Rihanna and Ciara’s feud began when the latter was on a 2011 episode of E!’s Fashion Police and told the panel of Rihanna, “I ran into her recently at a party, and she wasn’t the nicest.” Following the episode, Rihanna tweeted, “My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme.” Ciara responded, “Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage.” And Rihanna then brought out the infamous kill shot. That fateful night 14 years ago, Rih and Ciara did make up, with Rihanna tweeting, “Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup,” and Ciara responding, “Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted.
