
Jiggly Caliente, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race and judge on Drag Race: Philippines, has died. Her family announced the performer’s death on Instagram. “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente,” the wrote. “Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.” The news comes three days after her family said she’d had a”serious health setback,” which resulted in the amputation of most her right leg. “She will be deeply missed, always loved, and eternally remembered,” her family wrote.
That love was echoed by the official Drag Race social media, which called her “a cherished member of the Drag Race family. Her talent, truth, and impact will never be forgotten, and her legacy will continue to slay—always. We’re holding her family, friends, and fans close in our hearts during this difficult time.” Michelle Visage called the performer “My Jiggles,” writing on Instagram “The laughter was endless, our talks were special, your energy was contagious. You were and remain so very loved.”
Bianca Castro-Arabejo was born in San Pedro, Philippines in 1980. She moved to America when she was 10. She got her drag name from Jigglypuff, the Pokémon who lulls people to sleep with their singing. She first came to national attention on Drag Race season 4. Caliente also acted in shows like Pose and Search Party. In 2016, she came out as transgender. In 2021, Caliente competed in All Stars 6, and became a judge on Drag Race Philippines in 2022.
