There’s nothing worth watching more than Andor this week. The thrilling Star Wars series is Star Wars at its absolute best. Speaking of best, one of the franchise’s better prequels, Revenge of the Sith, is coming back to theaters, so if you plan it out right, you can spend the whole weekend in a galaxy far, far away. But if you’re trying to stay firmly planted in New York City, there’s always You and Étoile.
Featured Presentations
Andor season 2
Yes, yes, it’s a Star Wars show. But it’s also the only Star Wars title, now in its second season, ever made for grown-ups, and it uses its imperial backdrop to talk about oppression, courage, political revolution, and the humanism of populist movements. It’s fantastic. Also Mon Mothma is totally getting a divorce. —Kathryn VanArendonk

➽ Just in case you need a little Andor refresher before joining the Rebellion season 2.
Étoile
This series about ballet companies that trade their star dancers is Slings and Arrows plus Call My Agent! plus Bunheads plus Luke Kirby, who’s yelling at Simon Callow, who plays a knockoff David Koch. If you’ve seen an Amy Sherman-Palladino show before, it’s like that except 400 percent more. —K.V.A.

You season 5
You know how it goes by now. Penn Badgley’s serial killer, Joe Goldberg, gets obsessed with a woman, they start an affair, and eventually he kills her. Now he’s married and rich and has more eyes on him than ever as he returns to New York, where he murdered so many people in the past. Expect a lot of blood, a lot of narration, and hopefully some kind of comeuppance for our brunet baddie. —Roxana Hadadi

The Accountant 2
Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal play brothers shooting up stuff. That’s the gist of this movie. And sometimes that’s the kind of movie you need to get you through the week.

The Shrouds
“Unfortunately, The Shrouds, for all the many ideas floating around in it, feels more like a series of interesting notes for a film than an actual feature.” (In theaters now; read more of Ebiri’s review here.)
The Legend of Ochi
Clearly inspired by kid-centric ’80s adventure films like E.T., The Legend of Ochi tries to reach those heights as a young girl defies her father (Willem Dafoe) and teams up with a baby Ochi (a cutesy primate-looking creature) to return it to its homeland.

Your Last Chance
Not every relationship is built to last — Vulture’s Josef Adalian got the scoop that Peacock and Hallmark are parting streams. Why couldn’t these two wait until after Christmas in July to break up?
SCOOP! If you’ve been streaming Hallmark shows and movies via Peacock, heads up: As of May 1, Peacock and Hallmark will be ending their content sharing arrangement. Shows like THE WAY HOME will be leaving, and new movies will not stream next-day. Live feeds gone, too.
