Wally has unveiled the new wallypower50X at the 2026 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, marking the brand’s first outboard-driven take on its futuristic 50-foot platform. The model builds on the original wallypower50’s sharp profile, vertical bow and expansive glazing while introducing Mercury outboard power and a more flexible on-water mission profile.

True to Wally’s minimalist approach, the 50X retains signature elements such as concealed anchoring hardware and the brand’s distinctive “magic portholes,” which bring light below without interrupting the clean exterior lines. A glazed superstructure shelters the main social zone, balancing protection with an open, connected feel.

One of the biggest functional upgrades is aft, where fold-down transom sections add more than 50 square feet of usable deck space at anchor, effectively turning the cockpit into a broad swim terrace. The deck layout centers on twin sunpads and a dining area for eight, supported by a compact galley module designed for casual day use.

Belowdecks, the wallypower50X remains capable of overnighting, with a double berth, lounge seating and a full head with separate shower. It’s enough comfort for weekend cruising without compromising the boat’s open, performance-driven character.

Power comes from Mercury outboards, with a standard triple Verado V10 425-hp setup delivering a reported top speed of 50 knots and a cruise around 34 knots. For owners chasing more speed, an optional Mercury Racing V8 500 hp package pushes the boat to a claimed 54 knots, cruising near 36 knots.

Hull development was handled in-house with Ferretti Group Engineering, focusing on stability and control at high speeds. With the 50X, Wally extends its distinctive design language into the outboard segment—creating a fast, flexible platform equally suited as a day boat, chase boat or luxe weekender while staying true to the brand’s pared-back aesthetic.
