The founding father of Call Her Daddy is blazing new trails. Alex Cooper will star in Call Her Alex, a new Hulu docuseries, the streamer confirmed on April 29. The two-part series will follow Cooper’s journey as the host of the SiriusXM podcast and will be directed by Ry Russo-Young (Nuclear Family). “I’ve shared my life with the Daddy Gang since I started Call Her Daddy — but this documentary series takes it even deeper,” Cooper said in a statement. “It’s a behind-the-scenes look at the moments that shaped me — the raw, the messy, the personal stuff I’ve never felt comfortable sharing until now. My hope is that by bringing people along for this part of my journey, they’ll feel both more connected to my life and more empowered in their own.”

Though Cooper hints at “messiness” in her statement, there is no confirmation about whether CHD’s former co-host Sofia Franklyn will be involved or even explored on this “journey.” The series is produced by Cooper’s network Unwell and will premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 8, before coming to Hulu on June 10. Peace out ’til then, Daddy Gang.
