He recalls the desperation of his early days in the music industry, when he would burn his own tracks onto CDs and send them to record labels with a simple note that read, "play me." "It’s a dream of mine that has come true," he says. "I’ve always wanted to go overseas and be the resident DJ on the boats and in the club nights. It was an opportunity that I had to take with both hands."
