A 2018 MJM 50z, Lola is one of the few Downeast designs to earn Category A Ocean certification. This one-owner yacht is currently located in Boston, Massachusetts, and offered by Worth Avenue Yacht Sales for $1.75 million.

The vessel, built by Boston Boat Works and designed by Doug Zurn, is powered by triple Volvo IPS 600s, which give it a cruising speed of 35 knots, a top hop of 40 knots and a fuel burn of just 26 gallons per hour at 25 knots. Among the many additional features and options, Lola has Seakeeper gyrostabilization, Humphree interceptors, a full Raymarine electronics suite and remote Glendinning shore power.

The bridge deck is the heart of the yacht—open, bright, and connected—with Stidd helm seating forward, settees port and starboard, and 360-degree visibility through push-button opening windshields and roll-up Strataglass enclosures. Side doors and a transom door provide safe, convenient access on deck and to the swim platform.

Belowdecks, the bright and thoughtfully designed interior features a convertible guest cabin, spacious forward stateroom, dual heads with enclosed showers and plenty of stowage throughout.

Yachting previously wrote: “The MJM 50z is a thought-provoking yacht with some impressive firsts. It comes from the first builder in the world to make a Seakeeper gyrostabilizer standard. It’s also the first U.S. production powerboat with high-tech epoxy and composite construction. It has a single-level deck spanning nearly half the yacht’s length, plus speed (33 knots) with fuel economy. It not only meets but exceeds the Category A Ocean requirements, the highest seaworthiness rating from the International Marine Certification Institute. Designed for owner-operators who like to cruise, the 50z has two staterooms, two heads and an all-weather cockpit. She is a yacht that puts fun and family at the forefront.”

According to the brokerage team at Worth Avenue Yacht Sales, Lola’s Moonglow Silver Awlcraft topsides, Esthec decks, and meticulously maintained cosmetics present as new. “Those inspecting Lola will find her in immaculate mechanical and cosmetic condition, showing like a new build,” they report.
