GX Superyachts unveiled plans for the GX38 Voyager, a 125-foot explorer yacht designed for long-range cruising with a focus on efficiency and comfort, during the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show. Following the brand’s 42-meter flagship and GX34 hybrid yacht, the new model represents a bold step into the expedition sector, and will be built at the request of an experienced client.

Constructed with an aluminium hull and featuring an ice-class option, the GX38 Voyager is conceived for global cruising, including voyages in high latitudes and challenging conditions. The proprietary hybrid propulsion system combines solar panels, diesel generators and electric motors, reducing carbon emissions by up to 30 percent compared to conventional diesel power. At 6 knots in hybrid mode, the yacht has a range of 10,000 nautical miles, with a top speed of 16 knots.

Exterior and interior design are by Marco Casali, who has created a seamless flow between the spacious decks and interiors. Owners can configure layouts with five or six en suite cabins for 10 to 12 guests, supported by a crew of up to seven. Options include an enclosed sundeck salon with 360-degree views for extreme-weather cruising, or a sundeck owner’s suite with private deck. Lifestyle amenities include a foredeck firepit lounge, extended aft deck with Jacuzzi and ample tender storage, with room for everything from a submersible to a land vehicle.

GX Superyachts founder Vladimir Zinchenko describes the GX38 Voyager as “the fruit of months of work with a very motivated client,” extending the company’s commitment to responsible yachting into the explorer sector for the first time.

The yacht joins the GX lineup alongside the GX42, now under construction in Istanbul with delivery scheduled for 2026.
