Kenshō’s Brokerage Debut at PBIBS 2026: A Zen‑Focused Superyacht Comes to Market

The 44th Palm Beach International Boat Show, staged along Flagler Drive from 25–29 March 2026, reinforced the town’s standing as a premier superyacht marketplace. More than 55,000 visitors passed the show’s docks where organisers estimated in excess of US$1.2 billion in inventory on display, including a Superyacht Show selection that featured over 30 vessels longer than 150 feet. Among those headline arrivals was Kenshō, the 75.18‑metre Admiral yacht making its global brokerage debut under Christie Yachts’ central agency.

Architecture and design that prioritise sea connection

Delivered in 2022 by Admiral Yachts (The Italian Sea Group), Kenshō is the product of collaborative naval architecture and styling by Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture and archineers.berlin, with interiors by Jouin Manku. At 75.18 m (247 ft) overall and roughly 1,981 GT, she pairs a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure and a diesel‑electric propulsion package driven by three Caterpillar engines.

Rather than adhere to a conventional aft‑main saloon layout, Kenshō places guest suites and private areas at the heart of the main deck while communal living shifts to the upper deck. There a panoramic skylounge offers 180‑degree forward views and converts into a cinema, emphasising intimacy with the sea. Wide corridors and 2.7 m‑high ceilings reinforce a sense of volume and flow throughout the accommodation.

Interiors, outdoor living and thoughtful details

Jouin Manku’s interiors take cues from Japanese aesthetics; the yacht’s name — Kenshō, a term for “seeing one’s true nature” — informs the restrained palette and tactile finishes. The owner’s full‑beam suite occupies the forward portion of the main deck and includes a private lounge, dressing room and marble bathroom. Outdoor living spans four decks and culminates on a generous swim platform that houses a 5.5 m (18 ft) glass‑fronted pool finished with metallic detailing. The sundeck offers a forward Jacuzzi and a bespoke lighting installation inspired by bioluminescence; a gym with ocean views, elevator to all decks and a side‑loading garage for toys complete the onboard programme.

Performance and practicalities

Published specifications place Kenshō’s top speed at about 15.8–15.9 knots, with cruising speeds typically cited between 10 and 13.6 knots and an approximate range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13.6 knots. Burgess’ listing notes fuel consumption near 360 litres per hour at cruising speed. The yacht accommodates 12 guests in eight cabins and carries a crew of 21.

Market positioning and brokerage details

Christie Yachts announced its appointment as exclusive central agent for Kenshō’s sale when she arrived at PBIBS; both Christie and industry publications reported an asking price of €124,500,000 (approximately US$145 million). Kenshō remains available for charter, with published rates starting at €900,000 per week plus expenses (seasonal rates to €1,100,000), typically cruising the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean in winter. The yacht’s CV includes recognition at the 2023 World Superyacht Awards, where she won Motor Yacht of the Year and Best Interior Design (1500 GT+).

Why Kenshō mattered at Palm Beach

Exhibited alongside some of the largest yachts at the show — including Lürssen’s Rocinante and Feadship’s Boardwalk — Kenshō attracted attention as both an architectural statement and a market benchmark. Her guest‑centric configuration, Zen‑inspired interiors and diesel‑electric propulsion embody design and engineering priorities that are increasingly visible in contemporary large yachts: a focus on onboard lifestyle, reduced environmental footprint through efficient propulsion choices, and distinctive exterior finishes that read well on the dock and in charter listings.
