Sanlorenzo has revealed its new flagship, the 74Steel, ahead of its official launch in La Spezia. At 74 meters, it is the largest yacht built by the Italian shipyard and represents a milestone in its steel and aluminum line. Three hulls have already been sold, each with a unique layout and design, while negotiations for a fourth are underway.

Developed on a pre-engineered technical platform, the yacht can be fitted with either conventional or diesel-electric propulsion. The first hull carries a Siemens Energy diesel-electric system with six Volvo Penta–Mase variable-speed generators powering twin Schottel E-Pods, supported by a 1.5 MWh battery bank. This arrangement allows for quieter operation, more efficient energy use, and flexible interior layouts, particularly in the expansive beach club and spa, which approach 290 square meters with the transom and side platforms deployed.

Exterior design and naval architecture are by Zuccon International Project, while the interiors of the first hull are by Francesco Paszkowski with Margherita Casprini. The yacht features a distinctive vertical bow and flowing exterior lines, paired with interiors marked by curved furniture, sculpted forms, and matte wood finishes accented by marble in the ensuite bathrooms.

The owner’s private deck spans 300 square meters, with a forward-facing suite, private terrace and aft dining. Five guest staterooms, including a full-beam VIP suite, are positioned on the main deck, while 11 crew cabins forward on the lower deck support efficient operations, aided by dedicated service staircases.

Amenities include a wellness area with a gym, massage room, sauna, and hammam, as well as a hydroponic cultivation room. Outdoor spaces are spread across multiple decks, from a hot tub and firepit on the sundeck to an aft pool with a glass bottom that illuminates the beach club below. Twin garages house a 10-meter Pascoe limo tender, crew tender and water toys.
